Keeping tab as tab while editing html in Netbeans -

I am using NetBusiness 8.0.1 for a web project and I experiment with the "tab-size" attribute I am doing Although Netbeans has changed the tab with white spaces and with this "tab-size" feature is meaningless. Is there any way to stop it?
