html - Browser not rendering anchor tag inspite of being part of Page source -

This is another deceptive issue in HTML, I have an anchor tag, which I used to dynamically from server side using Java I create. When I look at the source, the tag is viewable, but it is not visible in the browser. Even when I inspect the element, I do not see it. My question is that despite being part of a page source, the tag is not being translated, the following is the tag:
